Pace University provides many valuable resources to its students.One that stands out is the career services division.
Their job is to encourage students to use their connections to find employment during and after college. These internships or full-time jobs are opportunities that others do not always have.
One of the biggest events of the year that is offered by career service’s Job and Internship Fair or the Career Fair. 150 plus corporations are involved in this event. This is a five-hour period on a day in the fall where multiple corporations and potential employers come to Pace and interact with the students.
This face to face forum has provided countless jobs and internships for the Pace community. Some of the corporations include but are not limited to, Enterprise: Rent-A-Car, World Wrestling Entertainment, UPS, and Hudson Financial Group.
Over 3000 employers nationally and regionally in many different fields including, government, healthcare, business, entertainment, technology, and law. Each student has the potential of finding an internship and building connections with employers and Pace faculty alike.
After receiving an internship with a business it is often possible to obtain a full-time job. Conversely the employers can use the fair as a large recruiting tool, helping them find many potential candidates.
