Phi Sigma Sigma hosted their annual Holiday Bazaar today in the Gottesman Room, in the Kessel Student Center, between the hours of 10am and 3pm. The event was busy with people throughout the day. Over thirty local vendors attended showcasing their items including multiple jewelers, clothing, dog treats, hand painted vases and “The Jam Man.”
The Bazaar was free to enter as well as the majority of the food outside. The sisters also put together a raffle with multiple prizes ranging from small themed baskets to larger prize tickets. Some of the most favorited items were New York Giants tickets, New York Islanders Tickets, Jersey Boys Tickets, Ray ban sunglasses. In addition, a Nutri-Bullet, an expensive set of knives, a baking basket, and a movie-themed basket were some of the additional raffle items.
The Sisters of Phi Sigma Sigma provided free food to all those who signed into the event. There was an assortment of deli sandwiches, bagels, and pastries catered by Frank and Joes Deli. In addition, there was a bake sale in which the Phi Sig girls made Chocolate coved pretzels, sugar cookies, and cupcakes. There was also a gift wrapping station where any item regardless of size was able to be wrapped for $1.00. Next to that there was also a station with mason jars filled with cookie ingredients and direction labels attached. All one would need to do was add the wet ingredients and m&m chocolate chip cookie dough was complete.
